The company was established in 1998 - giving second birth to the former Askeran Wine Factory, which had alcohol production traditions since 1922. The company produces exclusive strong alcoholic beverages from natural fruits, brandy, wine and vodka. Our history
The Askeran wine factory foundation
The dream - present Artsakh to the world as the cradle of a hardworking creative people with unique, inimitable traditions. Three friends paid their dream and bought the ruined Askeran winery. The process of restoring the old traditions of the production of alcoholic beverages began. The company was named after the first letters of the names of three friends: Samvel, Georgi, Sergey. Production began with the symbol of Artsakh, mulberry vodka. Our company was the first in Armenia to start producing fruit brandy. Our first line of strong alcoholic fruit drinks is called ARTSAKH.
The company became the business of the Ohanyan family. Production expanded. the range of fruit brandies was replenished, our specialists created a unique technology of aging fruit brandies, which is registered by the RA Patent Department, began the production of wheat vodka, with a recipe specially developed for us.
The factory started to produce Armenian brandy. A workshop for the production of barrels was launched next to the factory. The aging cellars for brandy and fruit spirits were expanded. The factory received the international ISO 22000-2018 - Food safety management system compliance certificate.
Commissioning of the second factory of the Ohanyan company in Yerevan. The new factory is equipped with the most advanced modern equipment. Emphasizing environmental issues, a solar energy plant is located in the factory.
